Nine ways to invite in good energy

 

Everything is energy. That’s a very abstract statement, I know. When you’re really feeling stuck or challenged in life, the idea of “changing your energy” can seem impossible and out of reach.

 

But it can actually be really easy to change the energy around you and create an amazing platform for the money, love, health, creativity, or peace that you desire.

 

So often its too easy to see the negative because it’s always all around us. Your home or office is where you spend the majority of your time, make those areas a positive place. I am not saying it’s easy to always stay positive but you can modify your surroundings to bring in good energy. Here are 9 ways to do that.

 

  1. Plants

Plants literally create good energy as they clean the air of toxins. Any house plants will add in positive energy into your space as they clean the air.

 

  1. Sage

April is a good time to spring clean your space, whether work or home.

Smudging is one of my favorite ways to clear energy in a space to bring in positive energy or just a refreshing start or new beginning.

 

  1. Diffuse Essential Oils

Using essential oils in a diffuser is just one of the ways to change up the energy around you. I like to use lavender oil in a diffuser to invite in calm. Another good one is blending peppermint and lemon oils to start your morning with a bit more pep. Also, frankincense helps relieves stress.

 

  1. Meditate

Another good way to shift the energy in your day, especially in moving negative energy to more positive, is to meditate. Even if you don’t have a regular meditation practice (or you’ve never meditated before), try closing your eyes and taking a few deep breaths. As you breathe, just focus on how your breath moves in your body.  Try to take 5-10 deep breaths

 

  1. Sage Spray

Another way to use sage is through a room spray. This is great for a space where you don’t want to light anything. You can use it at the beginning of a work day; or walk around the home and spray it while believing it’s going to be a really good day!

 

  1. Create Sacred Space

From a religious symbol to a bowl of shells or other found things from nature to even a quote, creating space for what is sacred to you and putting this space somewhere you’ll see often will help you stay grounded. You could create this space on your bedside table, on a bookshelf, and even in your cubicle at work. Remember, you choose what is sacred or special to you.

 

  1. Gemstones

Placing gemstones in your home can invite in specific positive things. For example:

smoky quartz is said to be a grounding stone that gets rid of negative energies. It is also said to help you stay on task, so it is good to have in a work setting.

Amethyst and citrine paired together are said to bring positive energy, joy, and abundance

Rose quartz invites in love and compassion.

 

  1. Family Gratitude List

Gratitude is a way to shift the energy of your day because it helps you connect to the positives in your day and can actually happier over time.  One of my favorite ideas is to create a chalkboard wall in your home where you can create a new gratitude list each month (or week). You could also do this in a journal or on a piece of paper you put on your fridge.

 

  1. Manifest the Positive

Wake up every morning and focus on something to be thankful for. If the world is bringing you down find what is good in your life and be thankful for it. Manifest good health, success, love, happiness, and abundant with joy in your life and those things will come to you with positive affirmation. Do not focus on negativity for those thoughts cause opposite effects.
